Salary: £26,000 per year

Research administrative assistant (Full time – 37.5 hours per week – 4 months temp)

We are currently looking for a research admin assistant to work for one of our NHS clients in Bradford (BD9).

Location: BD9 Bradford

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 830 – 1700

Salary: £26,000per year (increases to £26,000 per year after completion of 12 weeks)

Duration: 4 months from start (temporary)

Key Functions

The focus of this role is to support the clinical research team in the management of the approval of research projects and in the ongoing administration of research studies. Additionally, the post will involve administrative and secretarial support to the research team in terms of study paperwork, filing, database management and meetings.

Duties:

To develop and maintain research project paperwork and a system for study collaborators to be updated of the status of the studies at regular intervals. Utilising this system, ensure that progress reports are provided for R&D and other regulatory authorities routinely and when requested.
To help set up meetings and take minutes of meetings.
Ensure that the research office is operational e.g appropriately functioning telephone systems, computer systems and printers etc. The post holder will be a key contact for problem solving any issues with these systems with the prison teams responsible for them.
To collate figures to illustrate the percentage accrual from patient clinical groups for individual studies.
To help implement local and national quality standards for research administration.
Maintain all Site File administration including Standard Operating Procedures for studies and ensure that research staff are supported in terms of data collection administration.
To establish and monitor a system which details ongoing individual study activities.
To facilitate cross cover by staff and provide a clear audit trail of studies.
To establish and maintain a register of research active staff, their CVs and record of research training.
To support the research staff in establishing and maintaining reference databases for various studies.
