Bench Joiner/ Cabinet Maker

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our friendly, laid back team in a growing company. The vacancy is workshop based, manufacturing all aspects of bespoke cabinetry such as kitchens, wardrobes, freestanding furniture etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing high-end joinery and cabinetry, the ability to set up and use woodworking machinery, and must have all relevant hand tools.

The role as a Bench Joiner will require these key attributes:

• A keen interest in design and an eye for quality and detail
• An understanding of drawings, cutting lists, and specification sheets
• An understanding of Joinery methods and woodworking procedures
• An ability to plan ahead and manage workload
• Be self motivated, with a positive attitude, and have the necessary qualities to ensure that work is carried out to a high standard and within the required time restraints.

Minimum requirements for this role;

• The ability to manufacture joinery and furniture to a high standard without supervision or guidance
• Competence in the safe setting up and use of woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment
• Must have your own hand tools and some basic power tools
• Own transport to be able to get to work without relying on public transport
