Private Client Lawyer or Trust Manager

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

In-house Private Client Solicitor /Estate Planning Advisor, Leamington Spa

Salary c£30,000 – £36,000dependent on experience

This opportunity is working for a well-established, independent, growing firm based at their office in Leamington Spa, and would suit a Private Client Solicitor (NQ and upwards) or an experienced Trust Manager or Paraplanner with private client experience, who is looking for an in-house role, breaking away from the restrictions of time-recording and billing targets.

This position has come about due to the expansion of the current team and will be based in Leamington Spa. You will be well-supported and mentored by a friendly well-established and highly experienced team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.

The role will involve

* Providing technical support and advice to the Estates Administration team

* Providing advice around the implications of buying and selling trust and estate properties

* Advising on the implications of transferring trust assets in and out of trusts

* Chairing trustees’ meetings and dealing with all aspects of trust administration

* Drafting Deeds of Variation and Cross Option Agreements

* Dealing with external technical queries and supporting in-house Processing Team, the Conveyancing Team and the Live Trust and Administration teams by providing technical advice

* Providing estate planning advice to Advisers and Clients

* Providing advice on existing wills
