Salary: £54,000 – £66,000per annum + Package

We are seeking a new section manager on behalf of a reputable contractor that are winning substantial projects within Aerospace civil engineering sector.

The company has 68,000 employees and a presence in over 25 countries. The company’s activity is carried out through four business lines: Services: efficient provision of urban and environmental services and maintenance of infrastructures and facilities.

Toll Roads: promotion, investment and operation of toll roads and other infrastructures.
Construction: the design and construction of infrastructures in the areas of civil engineering work, building and industrial construction. Airports: airport investment and operation.

Relevant Experience:
*Worked on pavements/runways/resurfacing
*5 years of References – Have been settled in one company for 3-5 years
*Worked in airports with good experience – if no airport experience then good solid Heavy Civils!
*Airside pass needed, high security

Responsibilities May Include:
*Responsible for running a section of works on particular projects
*Required to keep to the timescale of the project
*Make sure the project runs to budget
*Manage any delays or problems on site
*Managing quality control/health and safety

*Be a confident communicator and have a proactive approach to their work
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Good management skills, with the ability to drive yourself and colleagues to achieve high standards
*Ability to ensure standards and targets are met
*Good operational planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
*Ability to work with colleagues to deliver project and operational performance
*Sound knowledge of construction practices and standards
*Specialist knowledge in chosen field
