Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year

My Client has a simple mission: to improve lives through Education and Training. Each year they do this for 45 million prospective students, 1000 universities and colleges clients worldwide, 4100 children via there charity in Kenya and a staff of 300 across 5 offices worldwide.

My client is looking for a creative and enthusiastic editor to join there adult learning portfolio to write and edit content for their apprenticeships and training focused site, Training and Courses. You will have ownership of the editorial on the website and be in charge of ensuring it has its own voice. You’ll build the social media pages for the brand and be responsible for coming up with ideas of how to share their content through these channels. You might make the odd video, you’ll definitely have some views on how they can improve the user experience on site, and you’ll even be up for trying out the odd course yourself…

You will excel in this role if you:

*Have a higher level qualification in English/creative writing/journalism (if you’ve done an apprenticeship, they would especially like to hear from you!)
*Love writing compelling editorial and possess a passion to learn more
*Are fanatical about grammar and punctuation
*Know about SEO and how to write copy with this in mind
*Can make your way around Photoshop and have experience using different CMS
*Have some experience in producing and editing videos for the web
*Are brimming with ideas and keen to put them into practice
