Location: Leatherhead, Surrey ( flexible working arrangement)
Salary: £48000 – £65 000/annum
We are recruiting a Compliance and Regulation Manager with experience in Gas/ Electricity. This role is working for a multi- utilities organisation who are regulated by OFGEM.
Key Accountabilities
The Compliance and Assurance Manager will be committed to processes, policies, regulation and operations maintained of quality Gas and Electricity Distribution networks.
* Support in managing policy and regulatory change to ensure compliance across the business in Gas and Electricity.
* The successful Compliance and Assurance will assist with the management of all compliance with Legislation – GSMR, IGEM, ENA relating to Gas industry standards.
* Audit processes that ensure the assets are being designed, installed, tested and commissioned, complying with Industry/Regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Assist in the management of the Gas and Electric Safety Case.
* Keep abreast of changes to legislation, utility industry standards, and compliance changes.
* Support and lead internal audits to ensure it meets the relevant regulatory requirements, suggesting improvements to systems, process and agreements.
The suitable – Compliance and Assurance Utilities Manager will have the following:
* Experience in the Gas Distribution business. Gas is the priority.
* Experience in Compliance / Regulation in Utilities.
* Experience in Gas Distribution, regulation and Legislative Standards.
* Desirable to have sufficient knowledge of Electricity/ Water standards and compliance.
* Recognised, Health and Safety (H&S) qualification – IOSH, NEBOSH.
* Working with Quality Management Systems.
* Passionate about Excellence and Utility Compliance.
