Our utilities client based in Eccles are looking to recruit an experienced team leader to work within their street works team. The team is responsible for dealing with claims management from 3rd parties including local councils and the highways agency.

You will manage a team of advisors who are responsible for receiving these calls they are responsible for minimising and mitigating the company’s financial and reputational liability.

You will assist in the development & review of internal & external business processes, therefore management experience within process change would be an advantage. You will lead, manage and motivate the team towards performance targets.

You will have:
• Experience of leadership and team management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• An understanding of street works would be advantageous.
• An understanding of the water and wastewater networks and contract partner activities would be advantageous
• The ability to work to deadlines and targets.
• Adaptable and flexible and apply this to current working practices to ensure departmental SLA’s are achieved.
• Customer focused by effectively building and maintaining relationships and understanding their needs and requirements.
• Possess decision-making and leadership skills along with good planning and analysis skills.
• Excellent man-management, coaching and motivational skills.
• Experience in managing change.
