Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer working within the defence industry to manage complex proposals and projects. The role will encompass technical, operational and commercial responsibilities and strategic objectives. You are likely to be engineering degree qualified with defence industry experience and systems engineering capabilities. The role will involve:
• Technical lead for complex proposal generation.
• Concepts and systems engineering management.
• Technology concepts definition.
• Ownership of defence and UGV route maps.
• Technically responsible for delivery of defence and UGV programmes.

This role will suit an Engineer with the following background:
• Engineering degree qualified.
• Experience of working within UK defence industry.
• Experience of managing complex proposals and projects at a Chief Engineer or similar career level.
• You will need to be a UK national for UK security clearance purposes.

This position is commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Warwick, Birmingham, Northampton, Leamington Spa, Tamworth, Hinckley, Banbury.
