Salary: £48,000 – £50,400 per year

Interim Chief Officer (1 year fixed term contract) is required to work for an organisation championing the health and social care needas of adults and children within the borough of Hounslow

HOURS: PART TIME – 25 hours per week including occasional evening and weekend workP

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Leading, managing and motivating staff to deliver high quality results;
Developing strategy (service or organisation level), business planning and setting objectives;
Building and developing successful partnerships, alliances and working relationships with a
range of organisations, stakeholders and communities;
Bid/Tender Management
Public engagement and community activity/representation;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Health, social care and wellbeing policy, issues and current challenges.
Clinical background is required Job Role: (in brief)

Support and guide the Chair and the Board on all issues, relating to the role of the organisation to enable ble it to fulfil its statutory & legal responsibilities.
Work with the Board to progress the Strategic Plan and Annual Business Plan to achieve the objectives of the organisation. Work with the staff and volunteer team to deliver the objectives and priorities in the Strategic & Business plans as agreed with the Board.
Work with the Board to formulate and regularly review the organisation’s mission, policies, procedures and strategic plan and to monitor the outcomes of its work against annual plans and targets.
Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
Ensure appropriate systems are in place for the collection and analysis of data for the presentation to the Board, stakeholders & funders.
Continue to develop an efficient and effective Signposting System, in conjunction with the team
Act as an ambassador for the organisation and the community whose health and social care interests it represents, and to represent the company nationally
Further develop and manage a wide range of external relationships with the voluntary and community sectors.

Act to obtain the views of people about their needs and experience of local care services, using feedback processes and database to forward those views and/or complaints to the team.PLEASE NOTE: A DBS check will be required for this role
