Procurement Officer / Buyer

Salary: £13.44 per hour

Apple Recruitment are seeking to recruit a band 4 procurement officer/buyer for our public sector client based in the Boucher Road area of Belfast.

This role is temporary depending on business needs, mon-fri, 9-5, £13.44 per hour.

The Stock Buyer will contribute to ensuring that customers are supported

by a robust and efficient supply chain. He/she will be responsible for managing and

maintaining a specific portfolio of stock products, maintaining optimum inventory

levels in accordance with the stock holding strategies and manage the timely reorder

of goods in excess of £50 million per annum.

Essential Criteria:

* Have at least GCSE Maths and GCSE English (A-C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate Literacy and numeracy

AND

* Two A Levels or equivalent qualification OR higher qualification

AND

* Have 18 months’ procurement or logistical experience within an organisation’s supply chain function.

OR

* Have at least three years (in the last ten) procurement or logistical experience within an organisation’s supply chain function.
