Salary: £84,000 – £85,200 per year
The Curve Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of one of our clients, a marketing/media organisation based in Welwyn Garden City.
The Role Purpose:
* Manage a finance function (team of 10)
* Responsible for the preparation, interpretation and analysis of management information, forecasts and budgets
* Proactive management of the balance sheet, including working capital
* Ensure robust financial controls are in place and oversee statutory reporting and tax compliance
* Systems development and improvement
* Provide proactive and timely support and advice to the Business Directors and their teams
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficient running of the finance department
* Providing timely, accurate and effective management information to the business teams, including monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet and working capital management including forward forecasts
* Oversee the preparation and review of forecasts and annual budgets
* Oversee statutory reporting and taxation
* Data modelling and scenario planning
The ideal candidate will be very commercially driven and will have experience of working for a business with numerous revenue streams. They will also be extremely strategic and have the ability to communicate and engage with people at all levels. The ideal candidate will also be a strong manager, with the ability to drive change.
