Barnsley
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
30 minutes unpaid lunch break

The Role Overview:
Ideally, we are looking for someone that has some experience working in a production role, either within an engineering, manufacturing or electrical capacity – however our client will offer full training and is happy to consider people who have a good, steady work history (showing longevity within each post) and who has an interest in forging a long-term relationship with their next employer.

Our client has been established for almost 30 years and is a company that has experienced growth year on year. Initially their business was based around offering custom barcode reader solutions but they soon expanded in to different areas, such as, offering solutions for the Automotive Industry Sector including Tyre & Wheel Assembly Line Systems. They then branched out internationally with a market presence in Europe, China and the USA – They are also market leaders in the UK in Waste Management solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Unit assembly manufacture
* Circuit board & Unit level programming
* Testing of units using in house design equipment/software
* Product Serialisation
* Packaging of products
Essential Attributes to Fulfil this Role:
* Continually maintaining excellent standards of production and understanding the importance of attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality
* Proactive attitude to work and a positive disposition
* Being team-spirited and focused on achieving the company targets
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Good timekeeping and reliability
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
* Soldering of electronic components & wiring
* Basic use of Microsoft S Office Software – mainly Outlook & Excel
