Highways Maintenance Engineer

An urgent requirement has arisen for a Highways Engineer to join a national Engineering firm on a prestigious contract based in Hertfordshire.

Candidates must have experience with design on Maintenance schemes, either from a Local Authority point of view or as a contractor. You will also ideally have worked on NEC3 contract or a Term Maintenance Contract.

Duties:

-Design of highways maintenance and improvement schemes, including but not limited to: drainage, pavement, pedestrian crossing, junction improvement and traffic management works

-Site supervision of some schemes, working closely with the implementation team and sub-contractors to ensure design standards are met in build

For this Senior requirement AutoCAD is not essential, however an overall understanding of the full Engineering process when it comes to Highways schemes is.
