Salary: £26,000 – £30,420 per year
Support worker| Children Home | Looked after Children | Guildford – Surrey | ONGOING
We are currently seeking an Support worker to work within a Children Home setting based in Surrey.To be successful for this role you will be required to have a minimum of 1 year’s recent experience of working as a Support Worker within the social care sector.
The successful Support Worker will have experience of:
– Supporting all children within the Children’s home, suffering from challenging behaviour.
– Supporting and developing childcare and paying particular attention to health, food clothing etc..
– Providing advice, support and guidance to parents to promote positive care and parenting skills.
– Communicating with children and dealing with discipline and behavioural difficulties of their children.
To apply for this role you must:
– Experience in dealing within Looked after Children (LAC)
– Exoerience working with children who have experienced trauma.
– Able to be flexible with weekends and shift work
