Type: Temporary, leading to permanent
Brooks-Harper Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a CNC Operator / Wood Machinist to join our client’s team on a full-time permanent basis.
The Company
Our client is a leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects, with an enviable reputation in their space.
In-line with their growth goals, they are now looking to appoint a CNC Operator to strengthen the team and achieve departmental goals.
We are delighted to offer this on a temporary basis, leading to permanent employment after a successful temporary period, for the right candidate.
The Job:
As a CNC Operator / Wood Machinist you will be required to work within the custom, well equipped machine shop. Your day-to-day work will include:
* CNC Machining
* Operating a beam saw
* Operating an edge bander (edging)
* Operating wood-working machinery as required.
To be successful in this role, you will be:
* Able to work from technical/CAD drawings.
* Have previous working knowledge of CNCs & general Joinery machinery.
* Be able to produce high quality work.
* Be a good communicator, able to communicate with machine shop and workshop management, keeping them informed of any issues.
Applicants with flexible attitude, able to switch roles quickly as the company workload changes, would be well suited.
The Hours:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday – 44 hours per week. There may be some overtime available as needed.
