FORUM AND WEB SUPPORT PORTAL CO-ORDINATOR

12mths FTC

We are seeking a part time Forum and Web Support Portal Co-ordinator, working 20 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

As Forum and Web Support Portal Co-ordinator, you will be providing day-to-day administration and support for the Association’s new online professional forum for professionals dealing with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and for the newly developed care support portal and other digital channels as required.

You must be computer and internet literate, with knowledge of online forums, social media and moderating online communities. Successful candidates will have strong written and interpersonal skills and be sensitive to the culture of a professional online community.

The online forum is an opportunity to support and develop relationships with people working with people affected by MND, therefore you must have a genuine commitment to supporting a growing, professional online community.

For more information please apply.

Please send your CV and covering letter explaining why you would be suitable for the role.

– MND is a fatal, rapidly progressive disease that affects the brain and spinal cord.

– It attacks the nerves that control movement: people can still think and feel but their muscles refuse to work.

– Five people die from MND every day in the UK. It has no cure.

The MND Association was founded in 1979. Our mission is to improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. We also fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments and brings us closer to a cure for MND. The Association also campaigns and raises awareness so the needs of people with MND, and everyone who cares for them, are recognised and addressed by wider society.
