My client is a small IT reseller and support provider specialising in the delivery of complete IT solutions to SMEs.

Job Details:
In this apprenticeship role, the aim is for the succesful candidate to provide remote access IT support services to our client base.
The apprenticeships role will include:
- Answering clients calls in a polite manner providing a high level of customer service
- Responsible for assisting with proactive system maintenance as well as dealing with IT support calls logged by telephone
- You will be required to log calls onto our management system and effectively manage the calls, relate to server, desktop or peripheral related issues, through to completion within our designated service level agreements
- You will be expected to have a good understanding of each client’s network.
- We also supply cloud based services such as email and backup and you may also be required to assist with the management of these services
- As you become more experienced, you may also be required to attend client sites to trouble shoot issues or install equipment
- Workshop work is an integral part of the business and you will be responsible for assisting with hardware builds and upgrades.
Skills required for this apprenticeship:
- Someone that lives within 1 hour commute is preferable due to the nature of role
- Friendly and customer focused
Qualifications required:
Ideally 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
Training to be provided:
Systems & Networking Level 3 Apprenticeship – | 3 modules in Microsoft Technical Associate | City and Guilds certificate in IT Systems and Principles | City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence
Apprenticeship duration:
12-14 months
Working week:
37.5 hours (Monday – Friday, 9 – 5:30)
