* The position for Junior Software Developer is a newly created role due to pure growth, this role will include full software development lifecycle, and requires production of robust software in a timely fashion, utilising a range of modern tools/languages predominantly from the Microsoft family. Primary technologies are /C# and SQL Server. Initially work will focus on maintaining and improving internal applications, which provide an interface for customer service staff to input/retrieve information from the underlying SQL Server database, moving on to public-facing projects and custom integration with third party systems

The role of Junior Software Developer:

* Integration with third party systems
* Developing new functionality on websites
* Maintaining and improving systems
* Testing
* Adhering to timescales
* Understanding and application of tools
* Deployment of code
* Collaborating with colleagues

The Ideal candidate for the Junior Software Developer role:

* At least 1-year post-graduate experience in a software development role
* Experience with, C# and Visual Studio
* Use of SQL Server
* Understanding of HTML
* Knowledge of CSS
* Ability to read/understand Javascript
* Ideally with knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio 2015 experience, NET 4.5, MVC, SQL Server 2014 experience, T-SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Ability to develop in Javascript
* Graduate level preferred – ideally in software development or computer science
