Site Manager

Salary: £68,400 – £74,400 per year

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager within (Construction / Refurbishments) to join an established, growing business.

Our client has gone from strength to strength solely based on their excellent works and delivery across construction, and refurbishments within the Commercially.

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, HND OR HNC or relevant Degree

The Site Manager is to be fully familiar with the scope of work for the project that has been allocated prior to commencing any works on site.

• The Site Manager has been provided with a full handover for the project from the estimator prior to commencing any works on site
• The Site Manager shall ensure he is fully aware of the financial details for the project, prime costs, company’s expectations in terms of contribution/profit
• The Site Manager is to ensure all Health and Safety documentation, and the site setup is in place to fully comply with the current CDM
• The key stakeholder to procure materials required to carry out the works, in accordance with the companies Procurement of Materials Procedure
• Responsible to hire any plant, skips, or waste removal contractors as required, to ensure all hired plant and waste skips are off-hired
• Responsible for recording and reporting any changes, alterations, or additional works to PM or QS on a weekly basis OR periodic financial review of the project with the PM or QS
• To ensure all personnel and their sub-contractors are working in a safe manner and in accordance with the sites Health and Safety
• To coordinate and monitor the installation of all disciplines within the project to reduce the risk of clashes of services
• To ensure at the end of the project the required completion documentation has been issued.
