The role of Technical Lead is an extension or step up from Senior Developer level. The scope of the role is to provide leadership and strategy as well as technical guidance and ensure quality of output throughout development both on and offshore.

Technically you will be able to lead from the front by providing final point of escalation support to all development queries and providing expert level technical guidance to the team.

Summary of Responsibilities:
– Solutions design and development – Web Applications (.Net, C#, Java, SQL, Oracle)
– Champion Product Development including technology roadmap
– Leadership and QA of onshore and offshore development
– Coordinating with senior management to scope process, methodology, best practice and quality of output.

Technical Summary:
– A broad and strong technical level of development experience
– Experience managing small teams of developers and testers
– Technical experience covering C#, ASP/Net, SQL, Oracle and ideally some Java.
– AGILE, SCRUM, TDD, BDD
– Knowledge of large, enterprise level data driven solutions.
– Experience working with global blue chip companies with global offices.
– Ideally a BSc honours degree in a computing, IT, Multimedia or Computer Science related subject

Salary:
£60,000 – £72,000 + bonus, pension, BUPA, 25 days annual leave etc
