The Challenge

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year

URGENT: Fixed-Term Full Time Assistant Project Managers wanted – all London regions, Surrey, Bucks & Berkshire, West Midlands, North West or Yorkshire

This role presents a unique opportunity for confident communicators and enthusiastic managers looking to pursue a career in project management, events management or logistics.

Our Assistant Project Managers/ Delivery Assistants are responsible for delivering of a number of youth-focused social integration programmes at a time. They manage relationships with local community partners, oversee the logistics during delivery of our NCS Programme, ensure quality at every programme milestone.

To be successful in this role you must have relevant experience (in a paid or voluntary role) including:

Large scale events or project management e.g. managing youth programmes or complex events

Managing or motivating small groups of people in stressful environments

Working with groups of young people

Understanding of working with diverse community groups. An ability to build stronger communities and advocating change in society.

The Challenge is a fast-growing social enterprise that connects and inspires people across Britain to strengthen their communities. We are the largest provider of the NCS, a life-changing experience for 15-17 year-olds. By taking part, young people learn new skills which are invaluable for their CVs or college applications.
