Production Supervisor Lean Manufacturing – Print / Paper Manufacturing

Working for the market leader in their sector, my client is currently looking for passionate and motivated Production Supervisors. The successful candidates will have excellent management experience, together with a hands on working knowledge of lean manufacturing and Continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also have first class performance management people skills.

Reporting into a Production Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience of working for a medium to large manufacturing company and will be of strong character, enjoy working with people and have a desire for continuous self improvement. My Client also prides itself on its Health and Safety and as such the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of H&S practices.

Hours. – You will be part of a five shift 2 days on 2 nights on 4 off 7 week cycle followed by 18 days off.

Renumeration will be £46,800 – £49,440for a three month training period followed by an increase to £41,200. Overtime is available. There is an excellent benefits package available after a qualifying period

Ideal Background – In an ideal world you will have a Papermaking background, however an Engineering, Technical or Chemical Skill set may also be relevant.
