Front of House / Receptionist

£27,000 – £30,000 plus pension, package & benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Receptionist to work in the front of house of this prestigious building, home to one of the worlds most recognisable brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting all visitors / contractors / employees
• Managing a busy telephone switchboard and directing calls in a confident and friendly manner
• Liaising with PA’s and directors
• Issue and reporting of access cards for visitors, employees and frequent external consultants
• Issuing and managing guest Wi-Fi set up
• Handling & managing press calls and reporting
• Maintain and manage accurate site employee list
• Maintain and manage visitor log and monthly reporting
• Coordinating daily deliveries including parcels and post, reporting in post book
• Controlling access into the building and car park via intercom and barrier systems
• Support to busy site FM team, coordinating key client operational, VIP and meeting events demands on a weekly basis
• FOH management to reflect highest standard of service to include – concierge, confectionary displays, newspapers, flowers and cleanliness
• General administrative tasks to support the FM team and client demands – eg business cards
• Arranging taxi services as required
• Reporting / recording any faults / complaints and maintenance issues through the FM Helpdesk and log

The Person

Essential:
• Previous reception and switchboard experience
• PC literate including Microsoft Office packages

Competencies
• A polite, professional telephone manner
• Good communication skills
• Able to prioritise their workload to meet the daily demands of a busy office / reception environment
• The ability to work on their own and as part of a team
• Italian speaking is highly beneficial- although not essential
