Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year

Our client are looking for a Logistics & Procurement Administrator with Supply Chain experience.

Responsibilities
Monitor sales and purchase schedules and report deviation to Manager.
Stock control of consumable items, first Aid stock and stationary.
UK Manufacturing, Data inputting to include daily WIP records, delivery receipts for consumables / raw materials and sub contract work.
Purchasing documentation administration for Manufacturing and Trading.
Monitor production schedules at our supply partners overseas and report any deviations to the agreed plan to your Manager.
Weekly progress updates to our customers on their order status
Generate weekly a list of outstanding customer orders with any deviations to acknowledged dates to our sales team.
Produce manufactured and trading Purchase orders for your Managers approval.
Process all sales orders for both UK and trading manufactured items for Manager approval
Generation of Despatch documents – including correct certificates and organize transportation.
General Admin duties to include, filing, faxing, scanning, photo copying to ensure all paper documentation is correctly stored for future reference.

Qualifications
Good standard of A Levels for all key subjects especially Math’s and English and a Science.
Engineering Qualification in BTEC, HNC, ONC (advantage).

Experience and skills
Intermediate MS Office Word, Excel, Power point (requirement) and Access data bases (advantage).
Good communication skills. (requirement)
Previous experience of working within a busy sales/procurement department (advantage)
Worked in the engineering environment. (advantage)
Conscientious, cheerful, willing, enthusiastic, hardworking team member
Neat personal appearance (requirement)
Attention to detail and willingness to implement all relevant company policies.(requirement)
Experience of working with a SAP, ERP or similar purchase / planning data base.
Full UK Driving License.

Hours of work:
08:00 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday
08:00 – 15.30 Friday
30 minute lunch break
