Principal Software Engineer

Salary: £96,000 – £120,000 per year

Foxley Talent are working with a global Medical Technology Company who are building an advanced, biomedical AI platform that helps to bring new medicine to patients. Their tool helps to accelerate research at top pharma companies and leading academic institutions globally.

This global company are building a team in the UK and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong knowledge of Python and Django. Experience of working within a data driven environment would be hugely beneficial.

Working as a Senior Developer you can expect to work on complex projects, contribute to back-end and front-end initiatives. You will also work with the team to develop solutions for the SaaS products which help scientists save time and increase the quality of their experiments.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Strong experience with a Python/Django
• 3+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer
• Experience of working in a data driven environment would be beneficial
• Driven to continuously improve products, your work environment, and yourself
• Strong communication and collaboration skill

The successful software engineer will form part of a larger cross-functional team of Python based data engineers, product managers, designers, and scientists and within your immediate team you will be doing technical investigations, solution design, code implementation (with automated tests) and code reviews. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to set high standards and improve the team’s knowledge.
