Duties and Responsibilities:

* Support the registered nurse and staffs

* Observing, monitoring and recording patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration and weight;

* Communication with patients, relatives and carers

* Assisting with clinical duties

* Personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety

* To assist and support registered nurses and clerical staff in administrative duties as required;

* To escort stable patients to and from all home to departments within the hospital.

Requirements:

* Up to date mandatory training is desirable

* Applicants must also have at least six months relevant experience in a UK care setting within the last 2 years

* Healthcare qualification, such as BTEC or NVQ in Health and Social care or equivalent.
