The Company:

Operating globally, my FMCG client are looking to expand the business with a focus on the UK market. With an office in the South East/ London, the business is ready to appoint a Managing Director to enter the next phase of development.

The Role:

This role is hugely important and will ultimately play the main part in developing the UK, building the support functions, further distribution, opening doors and developing the UK operations.

• Evaluate the UK business, financial and other risks as well as reputational risks in the UK market and ensure thee risks are being monitored and controlled; develop a risk map and the risk management procedures
• Develop the UK strategy, responsible for implementation and achieving KPIs

The Candidate:

Successful candidates will have a strong FMCG background and understanding of the UK market in this sector. You will also have a strong sales background, with demonstrable experience of opening new doors and operating at a senior level leading a team. You will be tenacious in nature, with a sound commercial knowledge base, excited about driving a new offering in the UK market and hold the qualities needed to establish new operations and grow a team.
