Financial Accounting Manager

Financial Accounting Manager (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant) is required to join a growing international business based in Guildford. The role will manage the day to day running of the financial accounts team (Payroll, Purchase Ledger etc) and will also ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

About You

will be a fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA and will have a good financial accounting background. You will be a strong communicator, self motivated and well organised. You will be looking to coach, develop and motivate a small finance team. This is a permanent role but due to the urgency candidates on shorter notice will be welcomed.

About The Role

* Management of the financial accounting team and performance of all key financial responsibilities to ensure the following is completed:
– Purchase ledger, Payroll, Billing & Revenue Collection, Nominal Ledger and Bank Reconciliations
– Producing monthly revenue report
– Producing monthly management accounts
– Corporation tax, PAYE / NI, VAT and HMRC regulatory matters and returns
– Monthly cash flow forecasting
* Development of the financial accounting team
* Assisting with planning and developing the general ledger systems and processes
* Optimisation of revenue collection and efficient collection of bad debt
* Ensuring that record keeping and filing of key documents is of the highest order
* Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including management of the year end process and liaison with the auditors
* Developing financial controls to ensure close financial management whilst allowing the business to thrive and prosper
* Ad hoc duties as required
