Accounting or ERP Software Support Consultant 1st & 2nd Line

New role for an Applications Support Consultant with ERP or accounting software experience to look after 1st & 2nd Line Support of 2 accounting and ERP software solutions. The role is based in the heart of vibrant Bristol working with a great team in modern offices – salary from £30,000 – £38,400 depending on your level of expertise, plus pension and vouchers.

This is a very well-established company, they have been in business for over 25 years; they are friendly, professional and successful and are still growing in both size and reputation. They specialise in the provision of accounting and ERP software implementation, support and project management services, and have an honest and open relationship with their customers. Their software can be hosted in the Cloud, or installed on premise.

You will work as part of a lively, busy team providing support to clients to resolve accounting and ERP software application and technical queries, in a professional polite and helpful manner, by telephone, email and web. You will keep the client and the support system up to date with progress, manage your own workload and prioritise your calls and work load. You will also help configure your clients’ systems and provide training (remote and onsite).

For this role as a 1st & 2nd Line Support Consultant you need a track record in application support, coupled with accounting or ERP software such as SAP Business One, Epicor, Kerridge, KashFlow, Pegasus Opera, Sage 200, Pinewood, Iris Exchequer, Unit4, Access Accounts, Infor SunSystems, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Sage Line 500, Sage 1000, Movex, PS Financials, Coda, COA or similar.

Ideally you will have a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping and / or payroll and good business process knowledge. You will be a great communicator, able to deal with pressure when it arises, with an easy going and friendly personality and excellent problem solving ability.

If you have Accounting or ERP software support experience, they will provide full training on their ERP and accounting software solutions and there is very good potential to move into implementation, consulting or training in the future. This will be a fabulous career move for the right candidate.
