Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year
THE CLIENT:
Our client is a well-established and recognised main contractor who deliver high quality construction schemes. They work with local authorities, major housing associations and prestigious organisations.
Their head office is in East London and they currently complete projects across London and the South East up to circa £15m.
They deliver both new build and refurbished properties to the Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Leisure market sectors.
Role: Site Manager – Greenwich, South East London
Project Details:
Our client is seeking to recruit a Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day site operations of a £4m new build residential scheme.
What are the essentials for this role?
* Leadership and Management Skills
* A strong track record in managing residential projects – We will look at individuals that have worked for other main contractors and ideally candidates that have worked on new build residential projects.
* Team player – Someone that is approachable, confident, and driven.
* Attention to detail & Quality driven – We need individuals that will complete and deliver these works to a high quality and without defects.
* Good Communication Skills – Your role will involve liaising and managing the team, subcontractors onsite, in meetings, by phone and email regarding timings, work required, materials etc. You will also need to communicate with Senior management to provide updates, request resources etc.
* Organisation skills – ensuring daily site diaries are completed, managing site paperwork such permits to work, ensuring compliance with RAMs
