Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
Our client is a market leader in home fragrance and wellness; they develop and sell exceptional and innovative products across multiple categories.
As the business is growing rapidly, a new Product Developer position has become available to help the creative team in the development of a new and exciting category – Home & Living – whilst maintaining design excellence and integrity.
This is a role for someone who can really make things happen! Someone who can turn a mood board into a tangible and profitable product.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- strong experience in homeware, tabletop,or living markets
- an understanding of industry standards and compliance
- first class project management skills
- a strong network of proven relationships with industry suppliers
- a high level of attention to detail
- a can-do attitude, high motivation and drive
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Developing and building the product portfolio
- Coordinating the new product cycle from inception to delivery on time and within budget
- Managing project costs with a focus on optimising margin
- Creating product briefings for suppliers and managing feedback
- Managing product testing, collating feedback and setting required actions
- Creating product specs
The business is located in Cheadle, South Manchester and you will need to be able to commute from your home location at least twice a month.
