WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST RED KITE WASTE HAVE BEEN DELIVERING KEY STAFF AT ALL LEVELS TO THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR FOR SEVERAL YEARS.

WASTE MANAGEMENT / RECYCLING & SKIP HIRE COMPANY REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER
PACKAGE: £30-45k, company mobile, pension and healthcare.
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Operations Manager to join thriving skip hire / waste management / recycling company; you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. The role of the Assistant Operations Manager includes the hands on management of a team of 100 staff in a busy skip hire depot.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES:
Work to method statements and risk assessments already implemented.
Manage a team of drivers and traffic controllers.
Complete tasks to set deadlines.
Deliver a motivated and engaged workforce managing all resources and staff at your disposal.
Ensure all problems are resolved in a timely manner
Oversee the effective routing of all vehicles.
Responsible for all skip vehicles / FEL’s / REL’s/ trade waste collection vehicles.
Respond to staff absence and vehicle breakdowns to prevent disruption to SLA’s.
EXPERIENCE:
Waste Management Depot Manager, Transport Operations Manager, Recycling Manager, Collection and Delivery General Manager, Light Freight or Haulage or Distribution Manager, Operations Manager, Warehouse General Manager, Skip Hire Manager
Transfrontier shipment of waste or international waste shipment would be beneficial.
