Family Team Practitioner

I am looking for a Family Team Practitioner to work within child protection in a Substance Misuse service in the Norfolk area.

Successful candidates will ideally have a Social Work qualification, however previous experience in a similar role may also be considered.

The role will involve working with families on a 1-2-1 basis and will lead as a practitioner to undertake family needs assessments, and agree, broker and support the family to implement a plan which will address issues which require practical, therapeutic and other supportive action.
You will also support families and individual family members through group work and will also act as the team specialist in respect of domestic abuse, employability, substance misuse/emotional health and advice and guidance support/other practical support.
You will have particular focus on child protection and safeguarding.

This is an initial 3 month contract with a view to extend, on full time hours Mon-Fri. The hourly rate would be roughly £25.2 – £28.8ph ltd.
