Street Lighting Designer

Design Engineer

You will report to the Design Team Leader and be responsible for the production and design of street lighting layouts including the electrical installation. Duties will include site supervision, surveys and specifications, you will carry out assessments of existing lighting projects and design of new and improved lighting and electrical installations.

Other duties include working closely with the other members of the design team to deliver the surveying and design of lighting installation and traffic signs as part of CIP and other external works.

Requirements
Technical Competencies

Electrical Engineering qualification
Ideally a member of the ILE
Experience of lighting design software and CAD knowledge
Experience of working ina technical street lighting environment
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
PC Literate with knowledge of MS applications e.g. Word and Excel.
