Bid Manager: Civil Engineering

Our client has an excellent reputation and growth strategy in the Civil Engineering Industry. Due to growth in the business they are looking to strengthen the Bid team with an experienced Manager.

Key Essentials:

* You should be fully knowledgeable in the Civil Engineering Industry both Operationally and Commercially to help ensure strong bids are created including a general understanding of various Forms of Contract

* As Bid Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the correct Commercial content and Documentation are provided in submitting high quality bids

* Your role will involve providing good quality content, structure and process of bids and proposals

* You will be responsible for helping to provide excellent submissions of tender proposals. It will be your responsibility to programme, allocate, monitor and control the requirements of the submission through to the award of contract. Throughout this process you will be responsible for ensuring communication between the client and Bid team is kept up to date at all times

* This role will involve coordinating internal resources to deliver bids and contributing to the relevant functions of the business

* As Bid Manager you will be required to lead a Bid team of all levels. You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to demonstrate leadership

Requirements:

* It is essential that you have previous Bid Management experience for a Main Contractor in the Civil Engineering Industry

* You should be professionally qualified in Civil Engineering with a good understanding of various Commercial Forms of Contract

* You should have excellent Communication and Leadership skills with the ability to plan and organise accordingly

* You should be fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages

This is an excellent position in a rapidly growing company that offers a salary up to £84,000+ Comprehensive Package
