Plumbers Mate / Assembly Fitter, Based in Cannock, Salary: £26,000 per year + overtime at time & half, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, life insurance, and career development opportunities.

We have an opportunity for a Plumbers Mate / Assembly Fitter to join the market leading provider of modular buildings, portable cabins, and secure storage solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The depot operation prepares the units ready for hire or sale, refurbishing and modifying as required.

The role: To assist in the installation and assembly of a range of units prior to them going out on hire, focussing on plumbing.

General plumbing Installation to units.
Testing of Plumbing installations and certification of installation.
The fitting and removal of partitions & other fittings.
Other general installation, fitting, repair and maintenance work
Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally.
Painting exterior of units with spray equipment, roller or brush.
Some working at height.
Occasional duties as forklift operator (where relevant with training and suitable qualifications).
Occasional visits to third party sites to undertake repairs of any nature to portable accommodation units.
Candidate requirements:

Previous experience in similar or relevant role would be highly desirable e.g. Plumbers Mate, Multi Trader, Property Maintenance, Handyman, Property Repair, Facilities Maintenance, Service Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Person.

To have a good mix of general maintenance skills including the use of power tools
You would need to have a willingness to learn; the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

CSCS card desirable
