Senior Bioinformatician

Salary: £60,000 per year

Natasha Young is recruiting for a Senior Bioinformatician to join a small, dedicated team providing an outsourced service to one of the top ten largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Salary:
Per annum £60,000, depending upon experience.

Senior Bioinformatician Role:
Use of bioinformatics tools and approaches to analyse biological data to support target identification and evaluation in Neuroscience.

Your Background:

• At least a Master’s degree with a significant, demonstrable (by way of skills and/or research experience) element of Bioinformatics and Molecular biology
• Experience of analysing and interpreting large scale complex genomic datasets using statistical and computational approaches (RNA-Seq, single cell, Proteomics and WES/WGS)
• In-depth knowledge of Bioinformatics methods, tools and databases used in multi-Omics data analysis and interpretation
• Proficiency in using R or Python for reproducible (e.g. R markdown/Jupyter) data analysis.
• Experience in cloud based computing environments (e.g AWS, Galaxy,)

Location:
This Senior Bioinformatician role will be based at our clients site in Bracknell, Berkshire.
