Technical Team Manager for Large Food Factory – Free Parking & Discount

Are you an experienced Technical Team Manager with a food background?
You will have previous experience in a food related technical role and proven management skills of leading and motivating an effective team.
Strong organisation and time management skills are a must as is a results oriented approach to work.
Within your area, you will expertly manage safety, quality, service, people, plant and profit activities and be an advocate for the company’s mission to provide an outstanding, quality product.
In addition to the above, the ideal Technical Team Manager will have the following character traits
a positive, pro-active attitude combined with strong communication skills
be able to think and act quickly in a changing environment
the ability to plan effectively and think logically
have strong personal integrity
able to work flexible hours
You will have a scientific qualification (preferably to degree level) and/or a recognised technical qualification and be able to demonstrate that you have:
an excellent standard of numeracy and literacy
a detailed understanding and experience of quality control
good experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
And if you have experience of high standards of health and safety implementation within a food environment, are trained to a minimum IOSH Managing Safely certificate and have 3 years’ experience in this field we definitely want to hear from you.
This is a permanent, full-time position working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6am to 6pm. The role comes with an attractive salary of £36,720per annum for the right person.
