Building Services Technician

Salary: £28,800 – £32,400 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Building Services Technician to be responsible for carrying out self-delivered PPM and reactive tasks on commercial offices and providing first line support for any technical issues that may arise.

As the Building Services Technician you will be required to support the FM team with non-technical tasks when required including, management of sub-contractors on site and ensuring the site follows all health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Covering 2 office buildings within Telford to carry out routine PPM tasks and first line investigation of issues and incidents
* Ensure continued compliance with statutory regulations on sites for which you are responsible
* Ensure that the sites for which you are responsible are safe working environments
* Assist with day to day oversight of projects taking place on sites for which you are responsible
* Comply with company health and safety requirements and report any breaches
* Adhere to the company’s contracted SLA’s and KPI’s

Person Specification:

* Maintenance experience in an FM/Office environment
* 17th/18th edition
* Test and Inspect qualification or similar
* Strong work ethic and customer focus
* Proactive/self-motivating
* Requires minimal direction
* Good with IT including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
* Other Mechanical or electrical trade qualifications
