New Product Introduction Supervisor

Salary: £264 – £330 per day

We now have an opening within a newly developed team for a Manufacturing/Operations Supervisor.

This role requires a keen attention to detail combined with an ability to consistently work to a high standard as well as a desire to drive improvement in a team environment. The role will require a close interaction with development and/or manufacturing engineering. With experience in a Clean Assembly environment, the successful applicant will likely have worked in a similar role, possibly within the sub-contract manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or electronics industries.

Responsible to: New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager

MAIN DUTIES

* Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production and NPI area(s) to meet production goals, product release, quality and cost objectives.

* Prioritizes production and NPI schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, sales forecast and production ramp planning.

* Leads development of production training program and fault matrix (troubleshooting) development.

* Supports development of new products.

* Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production and NPI function(s). Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

* Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.

The successful candidate will be able to read engineering drawings / schematics, have experience of electro-mechanical assemblies, be computer literate and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

6+ years of related industry experience required.

You must also be prepared to contribute to their own learning and development within the role.
