We are currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager to join a fantastic residential development based near Canterbury in Kent.
The spacious and lavishly designed service offer the highest calibre of accommodation, boasting en-suite bath rooms, Wi-Fi internet access as well as having several lounges and excellent dining facilities. The service contains 60 apartments for individuals over the age of 65, and succeeds in offering a friendly, warm and attentive approach.
This role is based near Canterbury, Kent and is commutable from Margate, Herne Bay, Ramsgate, Dover, Deal, Whitstable and Faversham.
As the Deputy Manager, the position will be predominantly to support the day-to-day management of the service. You will be required to lead your staffing team in offering the highest standard of care. You will be responsible for developing a friendly and hard-working team to provide a homely environment which can address a range of elderly residents’ needs. As well as managing care plans and monitoring medications, assisting with recruitment and training.
To be considered for this role, you must be flexible, approachable and motivated, as well as possessing excellent communication and organisational skills. You must also have the following;
– Experience in an elderly or older people Care environment
– Experience working as a Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
– Demonstrable management experience
– Experience of developing a service
