Our client is seeking to appoint a regional officer to undertake casework supporting their members in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
This will include giving prompt professional advice and pastoral support to individual members, as well as Supporting and representing members at disciplinary and other meetings such as employment tribunals, teaching agency hearings and police interviews, as appropriate.
Regional officers normally live in or very near the boundary of the region that they serve. If you are interested in this work and do not live in the region, please enquire as in some circumstances this may be accommodated. The post-holder will work from home with regular contact with and visits to HQ in Leicester plus regular training sessions. IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
The post requires up-to-date knowledge and experience of the issues facing the senior leadership teams of schools and colleges and the ability to deal with individuals at a senior level. The post will suit applicants with recent experience as leaders of educational institutions or administrators with good experience of school or college management and a strong interest in professional issues.
They offer excellent conditions of service along with an exceptionally generous pension scheme, to which the association contributes 14.1%.
This is a full time post and regional officers are paid on a three point incremental range from £61,765.2 – £64,887.6 starting at £51,471 per annum. Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered.
