Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year
Cloud Security Assurance Specialist – Remote with occasional travel to either Lancashire or Farnborough
Would you like a varied role working on high profile cloud security projects or are you looking for a change in career?
As part of the Cloud Security Assurance team, you will act as a subject matter expert in relation to cloud security, working closely with a variety of projects throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for providing security input, technical oversight, advice and assurance, to ensure cloud services utilised by the organisation are implemented and operated securely.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to join a newly created team working on a variety of cloud-based security projects. You will have great training and career development opportunities provided.
Your skills and qualifications:
- Infrastructure, IT and / or IT Security experience associated with the management of cloud platforms, security risk and architectures
- Experience of cloud administration, security or auditing (Desirable; certifications from AWS, Azure, Google)
- Vulnerability Management experience, particularly in prioritisation and remediation.
- Working knowledge of industry security standards such as; NCSC Cloud Principles, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and other industry good practice guidance
- Desirable knowledge; threats, risks, vulnerabilities and risk mitigations strategies and techniques, specifically for Cloud services
- Desirable certifications – CCSP/CCSK/CompTia S+/Azure &/OR AWS certification
What we’re looking for in you:
will have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex subjects to a variety of audiences, pulling out key issues and decision points. You should be capable of a very high standard of written communication including experience of writing complex reports and giving formal presentations.
You must have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with stakeholders and facilitating discussions with different stakeholder groups to address conflicting requirements and priorities. You will have the ability to work autonomously and manage workload and priorities based on demand from multiple projects.
Location: Lancashire or Farnborough for meetings – but we operate hybrid/flexible working arrangements
Salary: £60,000 – £66,000plus great benefits
