Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager position, in West Drayton to join a private nursery. This is an office based Deputy Nursery Manager role, and overseeing the day to day running of the setting, along side the Nursery Manager. This 100 place setting offers ample of outdoor space as well as encouraging outdoor play and also regular outings due to their great staff:children ratios.

If you are currently working as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Third In Charge, and looking to take the next step in your career as a Deputy Nursery Manager, then this could be a great role for you. Due to the size of the Nursery and a GOOD Ofsted inspection, there are always opportunities to build on your knowledge and experience.

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week, and the setting is open all year round apart from Christmas week and bank holidays.

Deputy Nursery Manager requirements:

* Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience

* Previous senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery Setting

* Minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent

* Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS

* Empathetic, caring and friendly

* Experience of SEND

* Managing budgets, invoicing and payroll

Deputy Nursery Manager Duties:

* To oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base Room

* To assist in coordinating rotas

* To maintain staff:child ratios at all times

* To contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staff

* To develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, children
