Production/Planning Engineer, Sheffield, £30-35,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production/Planning Engineer to join an established engineering organisation based in Sheffield offering a variety of engineering services within the Mechanical Handling, Nuclear, Mining, Hoisting and Manufacturing industries.
You will work as part of the Manufacturing department management team and the ideal candidate will have significant experience working within a large diverse Fabrication & Welding / CNCMachine and Assembly environment and will have the necessary experience and qualifications to carry out the role as a Production/Planning Engineer.
The ability to use AutoCAD would be an advantage, as would previous experience in jig design and detail drawing.
You will be expected to prepare manufacturing control documentation for the company and their various customers’ engineering drawings and specifications for use by skilled tradesmen, and you will be required to fulfill numerous additional functions within the manufacturing team.
Ideally you will have previous experience in estimating contract costs/time study/supervisory or management experience.
This role is based in Sheffield and is commutable from Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Nottingham, Barnsley, Rotherham, Mansfield etc.
