Location: Leicester + WFH
Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 + bonus + benefits
This leading multi-national company is looking for an outstanding individual to head up their UK Talent Acquisition function. The company has achieved significant growth over the last few years and with an ability to attract fantastic staff across their UK sites their future is even brighter!
This role reports into the HR Director, an individual who inspires and supports to get the best out of her team and will empower the new Talent Acquisition Specialist to deliver exceptional results.
The Role:
Partner with internal people leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies
Create comprehensive search assignments, ensuring a thorough understanding of the job responsibilities, business requirements and talent gaps
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, vendors and HR colleagues to create a partnership that yields consistent processes and results
Develop a thorough knowledge of the business and its culture in order to help candidates fully comprehend and embrace the career opportunity
Stay informed of recruiting trends and techniques
Develop and maintain a network of internal/external contacts to help source high potential talent
Leverage social recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates
Initiate and participate in projects that further both recruitment and business function capability
Interview and assess all candidates presented to hiring managers, including the use of face-to-face competency-based interviewing methodologies
Effectively partner with the HR admin team to ensure all candidate/hiring manager coordination activities run smoothly and efficiently (job posting, scheduling, job offer processing, on boarding, etc.)
Organise and lead post-interview debrief sessions with interview teams and candidates
Extend offers of employment to selected candidates in collaboration with HR Business Partners
Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance
Own the full recruiting lifecycle across all requisitions, including intake discussions with hiring managers, sourcing, candidate screens, portfolio reviews, offer management, etc
Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders on crafting compelling job descriptions, sourcing strategy, candidate attraction and engagement and external trends/marketplace data
Act as a sourcing subject matter expert and deliver market insights back to the hiring managers and business partners to drive educated sourcing strategies.
The Person:
Degree educated, or equivalent
In-house recruitment experience gained in a fast-paced FMCG (manufacturing/production/logistics) business
Previous EVP development
Experience in creating and delivering a successful social and digital media strategy such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Successful pipeline management and talent pooling using an ATS
Seen as a subject matter expert with a proven track record of employing creative sourcing methods
Demonstrated ability to handle high volume
Experience of working as a partner with preferred suppliers
Outstanding communication skills
Presence with the senior leadership teams
Highly organised, with ability to multi-task and self-prioritise
Adaptable, agile, strong follow up
Self-starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit with motivation to achieve
IT literate
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, and keep pace with a high volume of activity and demand
Confidence to communicate at all levels of the organisation and the humility to learn from others around the world
Successfully proven project and stakeholder management
