Sales & Bid Support Coordinator

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

As Sales & Bid Support Coordinator you will be rewarded with a generous salary, excellent range of benefits and be responsible for:

* Using the outputs of marketing campaigns and research to identify target customer organisations and key people within them as prospects for future sales

* Making introductions to potential new customers

* Identifying and application of funding streams

* Conducting marketing analysis

* Liaising with Marketing Communications to deliver customer / product specific campaigns

* Providing support to Account Managers and to UK & overseas agents and partners

* Lead generation

* Preparation of outgoing quotations and tender responses, liaising internally for specialist information and support as necessary

* Where necessary, acting as bid manager for tenders from formal enquiry to order (expressions of interest

* Preparation of forecasts/reports

To be considered for the role of Sales & Bid Support Coordinator you will need to:

* Have a good level of education, ideally with an engineering qualification

* Have previous experience in a similar role

* Have the ability to absorb technical information quickly

* Be a strong team player, with a “can do” attitude

* Highly self-motivated and eager / ability to learn

* Have excellent communications skills, both written and spoken

* Have a high level of commercial acumen and the ability to understand client’s processes and business objectives

* Be IT literate with a sound knowledge of the MS Office packages, experience with Sage software would also be desirable

* Previous experience with technical drawings would be an advantage

* A sound understanding of tendering and bid management experience would be an advantage
