Permanent Position

A fully experienced CNC Milling Machine Programmer / Setter / Operator is currently required for a permanent position based in Birmingham. Working in a modern successful engineering business, the successful candidate will be required to program, set and operate modern CNC Milling Machines.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Ability to efficiently and accurately program, set and operate CNC Milling Machines
• Utilising Heidenhein controls to write and edit programs to engineering drawings and customer requirements
• Producing parts in a variety of materials for different industries and sectors
• Editing programs directly from machine console
• Measuring parts manually at regular intervals
• Choosing appropriate tools, offset setups in a milling machines
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Use initiative whilst working alone
