Cyber Security Manager / Senior Manager – Consultancy – Cloud Security, Cyber Risk, Cyber Privacy
Working for this growing consultancy, you will be working within the Cyber Security & Privacy Division as a Senior Manager. This is a growing practice of 100 consultants, with ambitions to expand its capabilities from a strong base in incident response, intelligence and investigations into additional proactive security and managed detection & response services.
If you are currently working for a Consultancy as a Manager / Senior Manager ready for that next step in your career then this is the role for you. The ideal candidate must be able to support with both delivery and running client engagements, developing and mentoring junior members of the team. Preference would be given to someone who has experience of Cyber Risk and Cloud Security knowledge.
- People management experience is essential, experience of mentoring, coaching and directing a successful team.
- Experience in Consulting / managing external clients on billable projects is essential.
- Experience with scoping project requirements and developing budgets
- Ability to manage technically challenging workflows and identifying areas of increased risk
- Demonstrate experience in client facing roles and acting as principal point of contact on engagements
- Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), mathematical, and organisational skills
- Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables, and evolving task priorities
- Strong ability and desire to utilise technology to solve complex problems
- Ability to assess and benchmark security controls in common cloud platforms including Office 365, Google Suite, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of security principles, policies and industry best practices
- Familiarity with NIST, PCI and/or ISO frameworks and/or risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with client security assurance frameworks
- Holder of additional qualifications are preferred, but not essential: CISSP, CCSP, SANS, CISA, PMP, CISM, CISSP, CREST, OSCP/OSCE, GWAPT, GXPN, GPEN and/or similar certification(s)
The head office is based in London, with 2 days a week onsite. The salary on offer is a wide range between £72,000 – £102,000dependent on your experience with an excellent benefits package. You will get to work on both proactive and reactive cyber security engagements, solving a range of cyber security challenges.
