UX Designer

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

UX Designer – Hybrid / Cheshire

My client is looking to hire a UX Designer as part of several new mergers and acquisitions. Each of these platforms has its own distinctive functionality and caters for different segments of the market but each has a different UI. We are now looking to unify and simplify the user experience across the board.

We are hiring for an experienced UX Designer to join the tech division working on multiple platforms, to harmonise the user interfaces as well as guide the implementation of new features and systems.

We’re looking for someone with vision and a lot of design experience, ready to take ownership of problems and drive change.

The experience and skills that we are looking for include:

• Three or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for digital environments.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, InVision, Framer, etc is a must.
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

The client is offering flexible working with 2-3 days a week in the office in Cheshire. There is a good salary package on offer as well as good benefits including great office, training allowance, 25 days holidays, healthcare, bonus as well as a number of other perks.
